1. Operator and Contact
Project operator: BORSE LIMITED. Contact for data requests: contactus@highlandway.site.
2. Data Processed
At registration, we receive the email address you provide and store a password hash and the account creation date. We do not confirm the address by email, so it is not treated as verified. The server stores active sessions and sign-in attempt limits. Technical request data, including a hashed IP address, helps prevent abuse. Passwords are not stored in plain text.
If you separately opt in to the series of seven free daily emails, we store your subscription status, date, source, and the version of the consent text. After the campaign launches, the server will also store the number and time of the sent lesson and the email provider's message ID. Registration alone does not subscribe you to the mailing list.
3. Purposes and Retention Period
Data is required for registration, sign-in, providing access to lessons, securing the account, saving email preferences, sending no more than one lesson per day after the series launches, and processing unsubscribes. A session lasts up to 7 days. Consent history, sending records, and account records are retained until a deletion request is processed or for the period required by applicable law.
4. Providers and Data Transmission
When email delivery launches, the recipient's address and the relevant message content will be shared with an email delivery provider. No such transfer takes place before sending begins. Account data is stored in a MySQL database on the site's server.
5. Data Management
You can unsubscribe from the subscription in your account or via the link in the email after the series launch. You can request information about processing, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting the published contact address.
